Laura Hughes
At the age of 6 years I went along to my first dance class, since then you haven't been able to keep off the stage! I love dancing it is my life! I participated in jazz, tap and ballet classes for many years. When my sister Emma together with Mary opened their own studio, I continued to learn dance through them, now I am teaching a range of classes at Innovative where I can now share my experiences with the younger children. To this day I can barely believe I am living dream job – a dance teacher!
My love to teach children has led me to complete my Certificate III in Children's Services and I am currently working towards my Diploma this has proven to be extraordinarily satisfying and rewarding. Seeing my own creations being performed and enjoyed by young dancers and hundreds of spectators is something quite indescribable! I love keeping busy, balancing my dancing with a pre-school teaching career, can be challenging. But I hear keeping busy is the best way to stay out of trouble, so I wouldn’t have it any other way!
