Dance, music, art have all been an important part of my life from a very young age. The Creative Arts is my life. I grew up in the Blacktown area where I am currently still living. I started dancing at the young age of five but after a few months gave it up and didn’t continue with it until I was 12. I started jazz and street classes at a local dance studio which opened my eyes to the stage once again. From here I moved to another studio where I studied Jazz, Tap and Ballet twice a week. At this studio my passion for dance was really enhanced. I was also able to assist in teaching the younger students, this gave me a lot of experience and fulfilment. I have studied Graphic Design and am now working within this industry as a Packaging Designer which continuesly challenges my creative side every day.

On our opening night we had 20 students, within in 5 months we had 80 and now we currently have 250 students, over two locations learning different genres of dancing. This wouldn’t have been such a great success without the support from the local community.

Since Innovative Dance opened I have studied Certificate IV in Dance Teaching (TAP)

Other highlights and experiences that I have been involved with are competitions, film clips, entertainers, bands, dinner theatre restaurants, local community and charity work, Children’s Parties, pre-schooler classes, high school special appearances/workshops, costume design, music editing, the lists goes on and on…..

Our little story of two friends following their dreams has really proven to be a great success to us and the community! We would not have it any other way and love what we do! It goes to show dreams can come true!
